Interviews and Testimonials
The following interviews, given in both English and Spanish, offer teacher and student perspecitives on our schools and life in Latin America.
Alan: All of the teachers I met were experienced, interesting, very friendly and made the classes very entertaining as well as very effective. |
Maria Jose:La escuela tiene el mejor staff de profesores graduados con un excelente nivel académico. Aquí, puedes ver como son los típicos argentinos. Estamos estratégicamente ubicados en uno de los mejores barrios de Buenos Aires. |
Barbara: First I was at the school in Buenos Aires for 6 weeks and now I am at the school in Santiago. I love both schools. The teachers are very nice and good -the school is fantastic. Both cities are amazing. |
Sylvia:El objetivo es que los alumnos puedan manejarse con el idioma en contexto. Es decir, que no solo aprendan la gramática, la pronunciación típica de Buenos Aires, sino también las formas de tratamientos informales. |
Is it important that you speak Spanish?
Dave: The importance becomes very clear when you understand what we do. Without Spanish-speakers on the crews, it would be next to impossible to communicate with our customers. |
What opportunities have you had to socialize?
Julie: I find myself organizing my time and trying to squeeze in social activities between the planned events, my Argentine friends and the students themselves. Never in my life have I have to turn down so many invitations out.
Was it a big step for you to leave Europe and start a new Life in Argentina?
Marie: I don’t think I realized how big of a step until I came here and understood that this is a very different world. I have moved around quite a bit and I adjust easily. |
Ron: Buenos Aires is an amazing city. The experience of studying here can not be compared with any other city. From its sightseeing to its nightlife, it has everything. It has lots of night clubs...From the three weeks that I have stayed in the city, we have spent every night in a different club or bar. |
Michelle:
Teachers: All of the staff is great. Everyone is very friendly and goes out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and happy.
The city: Buenos Aires at night is more alive than any city in the world. I have to mention the food, which is absolutely irresistable.

Mika: The city itself is what I fell in love with. It´s like it is alive and full of passion. There are endless options for any type of person. It is a completely different lifestyle than I have ever lived. I find myself waking up early so I can walk to school, check out the rows of stores with pastry delicacies, shoes, clothes and lots of people. |
Soledad: El instituto abre sus puertas a los ciudadanos del mundo con el objetivo de ofrecer un abrazo cultural a través del idioma castellano. |
